Take the plunge! We hear the best way to cure a hangover is to dive into the freezing cold ocean for a swim!  While there is no scientific research to back that up, it’s a great way to help out the Scleroderma Foundation!  What better way to start off 2018 then by doing something for a great cause!  Meet Kevin Conroy and friends in front of L Street Tavern at 8am on Monday, January 1st and then be escorted down L Street by 103rd Postal Fire Column Pipes and Drums for the plunge at 9am.  At the L Street Bathhouse, strip down and take an ice-cold plunge!  Warm up back at L Street Tavern for raffles, prizes and a really good time!  Even if you are too chicken to jump into the freezing cold ocean, come by to support the participants brave enough to take the plunge and to support the Scleroderma Foundation!  Freezin’ For A Reason! You can make a donation either by check or by visiting here!

Out with the old! Boston residents can place their Christmas trees  curbside for composting between January 2nd and January 13th.
