Join South Boston Community Health Center Youth Ambassadors, South Boston Neighborhood Development and Boston City Councilor Ed Flynn for A Post-Parade Spring Cleaning!
We’re coming up on Spring and the snow piles have melted – leaving behind lots of trash and the dreaded tiny green bags. We’d like to get South Boston back to beautiful! Community members are invited to roll up their sleeves and join our clean-up efforts. Tuesday, March 17th 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Meet Up at South Boston Community Health Center, 409 West Broadway.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Young people under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Youth participants can earn community service hours! Gloves, bags and supplies will be provided. Just bring a good attitude and your Southie community spirit. If you can’t make it to SBCHC, please pull out your broom and clean your little corner of South Boston.
Clean-up events like this are about more than picking up litter. They’re a chance to meet your neighbors, take pride in our community and work to keep South Boston vibrant and welcoming for all of us. For more information, please contact [email protected]
