Local 149 is celebrating St. Crispin’s  Day with a St. Crispin Day Brunch on Sunday, October 23th.  Not sure what St. Crispin Day is? Saint Crispin’s Day falls on 25 October and is the feast day of the Christian saints Crispin and Crispinian twins who were martyred.  They were French Christian patron saints of cobblers.  They preached Christianity by day and make shoes by night.  Ultimately they were beheaded.  What does that have to do with you?  Well, if you make a donation to Soles4Souls (soles4souls.org), Local 149 is giving  you free Crispin Cider.  They will be excepting donations in the form or monetary, new shoes,  or slightly used shoes.
