Think you know Good Will Hunting?  Well, put your knowledge to the test on Saturday, October 11th.  Teams will be scouring the streets of South Boston for clues, answers, and mystery items.  The hunt will take you through bars, restaurants, landmarks and film locations.  Eat and drink along the way – enjoy signature cocktails and specials inspired but the movie that put Southie on the map – Good Will Hunting!   The day wraps up at Southie’s newest hot spot – the Lawn on D for more fun and games.  Mayor Marty Walsh’s will present a special plaque to L Street Tavern in memory of Robin “Sean Maguire” Williams.  Mr. Williams’ good friend, Irish Tenor Ronan Tynan will sing O’Danny Boy.   Prizes will be award for the winning teams.  Tickets are $30 and proceeds to to the Greg Hill Foundation.  https://www.sharingcounts.com/events/648-1st-annual-southie-scavenger-hunt

Give Blood.  The American Red Cross is hosting a blood drive at the Curley Community Center (aka the L ) – M Street Entrance on Wednesday, September 3rd from 2pm-7pm  Stop by and do a good deed.

Give Lovey some love! We love a parade!  It’s the annual South Boston Youth Soccer Parade on Thursday, September 4th at 6pm.  Stop by the Moakley Park Soccer Field and watch the youth of South Boston parade around the field sporting their new uniforms.  Hip, hip, hooray!
