USA!USA! Back by poplular demand! Last year, Mayor Walsh hosted two soccer viewing parties, which turned out to be a major success for all of Boston’s sports enthusiasts. This year with the Boston Breakers, the City’s professional women’s soccer team,? ?Mayor Walsh will be hosting a viewing party for the US? ?Women’s Soccer team, currently in the round of? ?16?. The team will be playing against Colombia on Monday.
All are welcome to enjoy this viewing party on City Hall Plaza on Monday, June 22nd at 8pm!

Eat, drink and be merry!  The Southie waterfront’s newest restaurant is Committee – 50 Northern Ave and it’s now open for lunch and dinner.  The new Mediterranean-inspired small plate restaurant will feature fresh and tasty dishes, tiki drinks and pitchers, and a spacious patio. Committee also has tall banquettes make from reclaimed wood from Anthony’s Pier Four!  Sweet!

Sailing, takes me away!  Help support a local institution, the Harry McDonough Sailing Center at Castle Island.  On Friday, June 26th from 6pm-9pm, join State Senator Linda Dorcena Forry, State Rep Nick Collins, State Rep Dan Hunt, City Councilor Bill Linehan, City Councilor Michael Flaherty, City Councilor Frank Baker, along with the board of directors of the sailing center, for a summertime cocktail reception at the sailing center located at Pleasure Bay.  Enjoy food, drinks and live entertainment seaside. Suggestion donations: Crew Members $100, Captain’s Club $150 (Couple), Commodore $250 and Admiral $500.
