Where the heck is the train?  If you are tired of wondering where the Red Line is, this map is perfect for you.  A new real-time MBTA Map tracks the Red Line (and the Blue and Orange Lines).  BostonTrainTrack.com just launched on July 4th by person new to Boston who was tired of waiting and waiting.  Check it out here: http://bostontraintrack.com/  Now if they could just ad the Southie buses, our commute would be sweet.

Beach Blanket Bingo!  After a hot day at the beach an ice cold beer will do the trick.  The Seapoint Restaurant is offering a Beach Blanket Bingo Special.  Enjoy $5 pizzas along with $12 imported pitchers/ $10 domestic pitchers 4 to 7 pm every day throughout the summer.  As always, Seapoint has the friendliest staff -including Lovey, ample parking and it’s very family friendly – so bring the kids!

Get in shape! It’s not too late to get bathing suit-ready!  A new session of bootcamp at Motivate Fitness begins on Monday, July 7th.  Known as the “masters of bootcamp,”Motivated  Fitness will have you in the best shape of your life.  This outdoor power hour uses medicine balls, cones, ladders,  combined with running, walking, lifting, and drills to push you to the next level.  It meets from 6am-7am Monday through Thursday for four weeks.  Cost is $180 for members $220 for non-members.  It’s also lead by our July Character of the Month – Thomas Regan. 

Rock the boat!  July is the perfect month to head out on Boston Harbor for an evening cruise aboard the Provincetown II.  On Wednesday, July 9th at 6:30pm, you can do just that  on the Mary Binda Memorial Harbor Cruise and it helps support the South Boston Boys and Girls Club.  What’s better than that?  The boat leaves from Commonwealth Pier and will cruise from 7pm-10pm.  There will be entertainment, a cash bar (must be 21 plus) and tickets are $25 ($30 on the day of).  For tickets or more information call 617-516-5442. 

Dance and sing!  We didn’t think Williams Tavern (92 A Street) could get any better – that is until now.  Beginning Friday, July 11th, Williams will host a DJ and Karaoke on from 8pm-11pm on Friday nights.  To kick things off this Friday, if you buy a Yuengling on tap, you’ll get a free Yuengling glass.  Nice!
