??Celebrate the grand opening of Southie’s newest Dunkin Donuts at 48 West Broadway.  On Monday, June 17th, there will be gift card raffles, product specials and free giveaways.  Stop by and welcome them to the neighborhood.

Who doesn’t love to laugh? Comedian Patty Ross and friends will be on stage and getting the crowd going on Friday, June 21st at a special event to help support The Paraclete’s student summer program  “Passport to the World”. This fun-filled evening features comedy, wine, food and fun at The Boston Winery and Venezia restaurant on the water in Dorchester.  Enjoy a tour and tasting at Boston Winery at 6pm and after a quick walk to Venezia, dine a delicious Italian dish as you way the comedy show at 7pm.  You can purchase tickets online at www.paraclete.org  Contact Eileen DeMichele 781-812-7099 with any questions.

Help support a local institution, the Harry McDonough Sailing Center at Castle Island.  On Thursday, June 20th, join Congressman Stephen Lynch, State Rep Nick Collins and City Councilor Bill Linehan, along with the board of directors of the sailing center, for summertime cocktail reception.  there will be food, drinks and live entertainment.  Suggestion donations: Crew Members $100, Captain’s Club $150 (Couple), Commodore $250 and Admiral $500.

Just a taste.  Social Wines and Bee’s Knees are offering two special tasting on Wednesday, June 19th. 

  • Coming up Rose It’s the season of Rose and Social Wines (52 West Broadway) wants to help you pick your favorite.  On Wednesday, June 19th from 5:30-8:00pm, you’re invited to a Grand Rose where you can sip, sample and savor nearly 20 bottles of Rose.  To go along with the summer wine, there will be an oyster chucking demonstration too.
  • The Bee’s Knees (12 Farnsworth Street), Fort Point’s newest specialty shop, is hosting “Left of the Dial” IPA Second (and last) Batch Launch with Brewer Chris Lohring of Notch Session from 5-7pm.  Stop by and give it a try. 

 

Game 3 and Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Playoff take place on Monday and Wednesday.  This real nail-biter of a series has got us white knuckled and up staying up late.  The Cornerstone’s (16 West Broadway) got cup fever!  During all Stanley Cup playoff games, enjoy $2.00 Budlite drafts and $5 appetizers!
