Be informed. Get involved. Another meeting to discuss the demolition of St. Augustine’s Church will be held Monday, March 4th at 6:30 pm at The Boys and Girls Club 230 West Sixth Street.
Give Blood. The Curley Recreation Center AKA the L is hosting a blood drive on Monday, March 4th from 2pm-7pm. Stop by and donate. Pizza will be served.
Hey kids! Test your shooting skills at the Basketball Free Throw contest at the Tynan School Gym on Monday, March 4th at 6pm. On Tuesday, March 5th, suit up and hit the pool a the Boys and Girls Club swimming competition. Registration begins at 5:30pm.
Taco Tuesdays! Barlow’s is heading south of the border with Taco Tuesday night. Featuring Fiesta Dos Equis with delicious margaritas and of course tacos. The fun begins at 6pm.
$2 Taco Tuesdays at Salsa’s (118 Dorchester Street). Stop in Salsa’s on Tuesday and enjoy their delicious tacos for just $2. While your there enjoy enjoy a margarita and their delicious guacamole too.
See it before it’s gone! There is great affordable theater to be seen in Fort Point (tickets run $9 to $18). Fort Point Theatre Channel (10 Channel Center) is presenting The Good Person of Setzuan, a tale of love, money and the search for a good person. Southie’s own Rick Winterson is part of the cast of this production. Performance times are Thursday, March 7th at 7:30pm, Friday, March 8th at 8pm and Saturday, March 9th at 8pm. Seating is limited!
