Raise the roof! Give a cheer! Foodie’s Market is open for business in Southie! The grand opening celebration will take place on Saturday, February 23rd all day long! Get fired up for St. Patrick’s Day! On Saturday, February 23rd from 10am-12pm The South Boston Citizen’s Association – the nations oldest neighborhood organization by the way – is having its yearly Jimmy Flaherty Kickoff Breakfast for the Evacuation Day Events. South Boston Citizen’s Association President Tom McGrath will be running the festivities with City Councilor Bill Linehan as the Honorary Chairman from The Cornerstone Restaurant (West Broadway). The Henry Knox Award will also be presented to an outstanding volunteer from our community. Suggested donation is $10. A breakfast buffet will be served and entertainment provided by Currah’s Fancy!
