HGTV has gone Southie. “Spontaneous Construction”a new HGTV show hosted by Ricky Paull Gouldin aka Dr. Jake Martin from All My Children, Rene Martin and Stephanie Heroux both local South Boston residents, choreographed local dancers for five episodes. Help celebrate at a Red Carpet Premiere on Friday, February 15th at 7pm at Salvatores (225 Northern Ave.) Rene Martin’s choreographed flashmob with be airing at the Red Carpet event. The show will air at 8pm, so please arrive promptly. Guests will be charged $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Tickets will be on a limited basis due to capacity. Appetizers are included, cash bar. Hey kid! Get a job! Mayor Tom Menino and the the Boston Youth Fund want to help you find summer employment. Boston Youth Fund provides thousands of Boston teens between the ages of 15 and 17 with job opportunities during the summer months. They will be hosting a job fair on Saturday, February 16th, from 11:30 to 2pm at the Boston Public Library at Copley Square.
Need a good laugh? Comedy at the Convent- a night of Comedy at the Paraclete (207 E Street). Featuring Boston area comedians, laughs, food, wine and beer (included in the ticket price.)
