The South Boston Holiday Stroll ?Get ready to shop local and celebrate the holiday season in South Boston!  On Friday, December 9th take part in the South Boston Holiday Stroll and Tree Lighting!  This fun-filled event takes place from 4pm to 8pm.  Come stroll up and down East and West Broadway and take advantage of special discounts, deals and one-night only promotions at local shops and restaurants. There will be Christmas caroling, a holiday shopper shuttle provided by Boston Duck Tours, the Mix 104 Street Crew, activities for kids, and of course an appearance by Santa!  Also included on the stroll, a Vintage Pop Up Shop – featuring some of the best vintage clothing, accessories and home goods – and an Art Pop Up Shop featuring amazing local artists from South Boston.  It’s so important to shop locally so support your local South Boston businesses on this special night! The City Point Neighborhood Association welcomes neighbors to the Third Annual Holiday Tree Lighting and Celebration at M Street Park Tuesday, December 6th at 6:30p.m. Enjoy music courtesy of WODS 103.3 Boston’s Holiday Radio Station and complimentary hot chocolate and bake goods! ??

Sing a song! The friends of the South Boston Public Library invite you to a fun evening of Christmas music, an old-fashioned Sing-Along with pianist Peter Golemme, a reading of The Night Before Christmas and some holiday treats!  This event takes place on Tuesday, December 5th at 6:30.

Eat Boutique Holiday Local Market is happening Saturday, December 10th from 11am-5pm.  Meet local handmade food makers and cookbook authors.  Taste their delicious sweet and savory treats and shop for gifts for friends and family.  This event will take place at  Made in Fort Point, a huge gallery space at 12 Farnsworth Street (next to Flour Bakery) in Southie’s Fort Point neighborhood.
