Week of October 15th
Shopping and make-up – two of our favorite things. Habit is hosting a Laura Mercier Makeup Event on Wednesday, October 17th. Enjoy 45 minute mini-makeovers by Laura Mercier Makeup artists. Not only will you get tricks of the trade, you’ll also receive a free gift with appointment and purchase. Just to sweeten the pot a little more, Habit is offering 20% off all purchases that evening. Finally, Moko (674 East Broadway) is serving beer and wine. After much anticipation, Southie’s newest sushi spot now has beer and wine on their menu. Sushi+wine/beer=bliss.
You’ve seen the flyers around town (and the handsome fellas handing them out). On Thursday, October 18th a community meeting will be held to discuss the ongoing Boston Public School Quality Choice Plan. Almost 40 years later after forced busing, steps are being made to improve the current policy and standards of the Boston Public School system. This is an opportunity to learn the facts and voice your opinion. This meeting takes place at 6pm at the Condon School (200 D Street).
