Ice cream!  You scream!  We all scream for ice cream!  YoBerry has officially opened its doors.  Located at the corner of Dorchester and West Fourth Street, this little shop serves up frozen yogurt and smoothies just in time for summer!

Hope at the Heights.  To aid individuals and families struggling with substance abuse issues, the South Boston Hope and Recovery Coalition is hosting an event at the Dorchester Heights on June 19th from 6-7:30pm.   Hope at the Heights is designed to celebrate recovery, offer hope and information to community members, families and friends.  Hope at the Heights will feature several speakers sharing their experiences which supported recovery and positive change.

A perfect way to start the morning?  With a good stretch!  Stretch, strengthen and energize at a new morning yoga class on Tuesdays from 6am-7am and Saturdays 8am to 9am.  This new yoga class takes place at the Woods School of Irish Dance Studio (168 H Street) and it’s just $5.  All levels are welcome and the instructor is R.Y.T.T. certified. We’re feeling a little more balanced already!

Attention Southie Fashionistas! You’re invited to our first ever South Boston sumer styling event!  Shop at Habit, Ku de Ta and The Closet Connection and get summer styling tips from local stylists.  Sip signature cocktails provided by Double Cross Vodka while you discover special one night only deals on all summer clothing and accessories. This stylish event happens Wednesday, June 27th 6-8pm.

Sailing takes me away!  Join Senator Jack Hart and the board of directors of the Harry McDonough Sailing Center at a special Summer Kick-off cocktail reception.  On Thursday, June 21st from 5:30-7:30 enjoy food, beverages and live entertainment provided by the Linehan Brothers.  Suggested donation is $100.  This event takes place that the McDonough Sailing Center at Castle Island.
