It’s Pumpkin Time! Who doesn’t love a good old fashioned pumpkin carving? The Friends of Fort Point Channel Pumpkin Pageant is happening on Thursday, October 27th from 12noon to 4pm at the Boston Children’s Museum HarborWalk.  The festivities include free pumpkin carving for children and adults in front of the Boston Children’s Museum and voting on pumpkins submitted by local businesses.  Free cider, popcorn and pretzels will be provided too!  They will also light all of the pumpkins, celebrate, and announce the winner of the pumpkin pageant at The Barking Crab from 5 – 6:30 p.m.  Please email Danielle Pillion if your company would like to participate in the pumpkin pageant [email protected]

Trick or treat!  Smell my feet!  Beware of little ghosts and goblins (and their parents) roaming the streets in search for Halloween candy.  East and West Broadway will be filled with trick or treaters on Monday from 4pm-6pm picking up candy from local businesses.  So be warned!  This event is free and is generously hosted by the South Boston Chamber of Commerce.

Who says Trick or Treating is just for kids? Partake in Halloween on the Harbor – it’s Trick or Treating for adults! Prizes and surprises of all shapes and sizes await you as you and your friends as you are shuttled between 13 locations on trolleys provided by Boston’s Old Town Trolley’s where you will enjoy a ghoulish cocktail or a quick bite before you jump back on board and travel to the next ghostly location! It’s $5 to ride the trolleys to various stops in the neighborhood. Proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Fort Point Channel.
