Peace be with you.  On February 9th at 6:30pm – at Medicine Wheel Productions is a FREE screening of  the new documentary, Acting Together on the World Stage. “The project documents a peacebuilding performance, highlighting artists, peacebuilders, and community leaders from every continent whose rituals and theatrical works speak truth to power and support communities to mourn losses and build bridges across differences.” There will be a reception at MWP’s Spoke Gallery (you can see the current show) and an informal discussion follows the screening (110 K Street, 2nd Floor, South Boston 02127) For more info:http://mwponline.org/wordpress/?page_id=2

Hey, kid!  Get a job!  The City of Boston’s HOPELINE Registration kicked off on February 1st.  Apply to the HOPELINE to be considered for employment with the Boston Youth Fund for the summer of 2012! All applicants must be full-time residents of Boston and be between the ages of 15 and 17 years old. Register online 24 hours a day from Feb 1 at 10am until Mar 2 at 11:59pm, or call 617-635-HOPE(4673) on Feb 21, 22 & 23 from 10am-2pm.
