That’s corny!  A cornhole league is starting this Wednesday, February 1st at 7pm at the Seapoint (367 East Eighth Street).  Show off you mad skills of tossing a bean bag into a hole on Wednesday nights through April 4th.  There will be an eight team playoff for the  championship.The winner will enter the Cornhole City Championship at the Boston Athletic Club.  Cost is $80 for teams of two.  Bar specials include $9 for imported pitchers and $7 for domestic.  A cheese pizza will only cost you $6 too.

Grab your stick!  South Boston Boys & Girls Lacrosse Registration will happen on Saturday, February 4th at the Murphy Skating Rink from 9am-11am.  There will be four boys teams and four girls teams in the following age categories:

  • 15 and under
  • 13 and under
  • 11and under
  • 9 and under
  • 7 and under

The following fees will be charged:

  • Boys under 15, 13, and 11 is $150
  • Boys under 9 and 7 is $75
  • Girls under 15, 13 and 11 is $100
  • Girls under 9 and 7 is $75
