In honor of the 5th Anniversary of the death of City Councilor (and local legend) Jimmy Kelly, a blood drive will be hosted in his honor by his three children. On Saturday, January 7th from 9:30-2:30 at South Boston Catholic Academy (O and East Broadway). Learn how to whip up a Sidecar with style! Beginning Tuesday, January 17, Local 149 is offering Mixology 101 – a 1 hour course on how to make and serve craft cocktails at home. Bar manager Chris Olds and bartender John Mayer will mix history and practical knowledge to give participants a chance to practice with tools and techniques.
