Remembering 9/11.  National Geographic has produced a special week of programming remembering 9/11 beginning Sunday, August 28th with an exclusive interview with George W. Bush.  Nickelodeon is also premiering a special for kids too young to remember called What Happened: The Story of September 11, 2001.  This special will air commercial free on Thursday, September 1st at 9pm.  Tune in.
 
Eat Danish.  Local 149 serves brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-4pm.  Make sure to try their signature Danish and house-made Mimosas.  Sounds good to us! 
 
Although Hurricane Irene was more of a windy rainstorm than a mass of destruction, some damage might have been done.  If you see down trees or power lines call they Mayor’s hotline at 617-635-4500, they’ll send an expert to take care of it. 
 
Labor Day Weekend is coming up!  Only a week left of official summer!  Better get working on your summer bucket list!  Is “try stand up paddle boarding” on your list? Then do it!  A “beach picnic”? Lost dog!  Cleo Bella – a pitbull/lab mix – was last seen on Wednesday, August 24th near Thomas Park.  She was struck by a car and ran off scared. She is very friendly.  There is a cash reward for finding Cleo Bella.  If you have seen her, contact her owner at 978-273-8113.  Thank you!
