Learn more about the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center plans to expand and what that means for the neighborhood of South Boston.  This important community discussion will take place on Tuesday, October 15th from 6pm-8pm at the Condon School.  Senator Nick Collins, Rep. David Biele and the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority will be the hosts. A presentation of the proposal will take place in addition to Q&A. 

Harvest of Hope

On October 17th, put on your best cocktail attire, head to the Westin Waterfront and help support help support an important South Boston organization – the South Boston Community Health Center. This night is sure to be a fabulous evening of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, silent & live auctions  This year’s event will honor Congressman Mike Capuano and Kevin Tyo. The fun begins at 6:30pm.  Tickets are $125 and can be purchased here.

It’s the Fort Point Open Studios! FPAC artists welcome visitors into their live-work studios annually to share the arts, industry and creative culture of this unique community with the public. FPAC pioneered Boston’s original Open Studios event, “Fort Point Open Studios,” which has since been replicated in dozens of artist communities throughout the city. FPAC’s Open Studios event features the work of member artists, craftspeople, and designers on view in artists’ studios, in galleries, on the streets and in the water around Fort Point.
