The City of Boston has announced that beginning July 1st, trash and recycling time will be moved up an hour earlier to 6am.
Veterans Vinyasa
East Side Yoga & Fitness is offering a free Vinyasa Flow Class for veterans. This class will take place on Tuesday, June 11th from 12pm-1pm. You can sign up here!
Taste of the Seaport
Taste of the Seaport returns to South Boston’s waterfront with culinary offerings from the neighborhood’s finest restaurants including Babbo Pizzeria, 75 on Liberty Wharf, Ocean Prime, and many more. A perfect after-work destination, the event also includes lawn games, a beer garden, music, and sampling of unique dishes from some of Boston’s premier dining destinations. Tickets are $35 in advance at tasteoftheseaport.com $35 and $45 at the door. Individual and group tickets are available, and no one will go home hungry.
By the Sea
Help support a local institution, the Harry McDonough Sailing Center at Castle Island. On Thursday, June 13th from 6pm-9pm, join the mother-load of Boston politicians including: State Senator Nick Collins, State Rep David Biele, City Councilor Michael Flaherty, City Councilor Ed Flynn, along with the board of directors of the sailing center, for a summertime cocktail reception at the sailing center located at Pleasure Bay. Enjoy food, drinks and live entertainment seaside. Suggestion donations: Crew Members $100, Captain’s Club $150 (Couple), Commodore $250 and Admiral $500.

CorePower at Underground ShrINK
The shrINK summer fitness series is back featuring CorePower Yoga. Our friends from the Ink Block Boston studio will be hosting FREE weekly yoga class Wednesdays at 6-7 PM at Underground at InkBlock. Kicking off on June 12th this series* will run until August 28th. BYOga mat and water.
*Please note there will be no class July 3rd.
Celebrate the Opening of Martin’s Park
The park, located next to the Children’s Museum, is named for Martin Richard – the youngest victim of the Boston Marathon bombings and will officially open to the public on Saturday, June 15th. Mayor Marty Walsh, Governor Charlie Baker and the Richard family will be in attendance for the official ceremony. Stop by and check out this impressive and much anticipated park!
