Podcast + Popcorn

Are you curious about podcasts? At Podcast + Popcorn, you’ll listen to a podcast episode or audio story and discuss it with a group, guided by a facilitator. It’s a book club for your ears! You’ll walk away with a deeper appreciation for audio and some practical approaches for creating your own podcast or audio project. No experience required!   This event takes place on Monday, December 9th from 6pm-7pm at the South Boston Public Library.  Here’s a podcast you should totally listen too! 

Gingerbread House Party at Lincoln

On December 10th, 16th and 18th Lincoln will be hosting gingerbread house making parties! Create festive gingerbread houses while watching your favorite Christmas movies and enjoying Mionetto Prosecco cocktails and light snacks from Lincoln’s award winning kitchen. With ticket purchase, each guest will receive their own gingerbread making kit with added accoutrements for you to create a true masterpiece and a glass of Prosecco upon arrival. One lucky winner from each event will also receive a special prize!  Tickets are $40 and can be purchased here! 

Christmas on Uranus

The award-wining, Vaudeville-inspired comedy troupe has moved to the South Boston Lithuanian Club on West Broadway! For the last 25 years, the Gold Dust Orphans were performing at Machine on Boylston Street but thanks to the building getting developed into condos – will now call South Boston their home. The orphans are now performing “Christmas on Uranus” at the Lithuanian Club. You can order your tickets here! The show will run December 5th – December 22nd Thursday – Sunday at 7:30pm and Saturday and Sunday at 4pm.

South Boston Holiday Showcase at The Broadway

The Broadway invites you to an evening of community appreciation and local pop up shops on Wednesday, December 11th from 7pm -9pm. Sip & Shop at this indoor Christmas Stroll!

Astrology & Asana at Radiant Yoga

Radiant Yoga is hosting a Full Moon Circle with Kristine Berube.  Join Kristine for a workshop designed to combine yoga, astrology, and reiki under the influence of the Full Moon. Kristine completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2019 with Chanel Luck and is also a certified Reiki Master and Registered Dietitian. This workshop takes place on Thursday, December 12th at 7:30pm.  Cost is $45.  You can register for it here.
