The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team are making their biggest-ever tour of North America visiting more than 25 North American cities including Boston!  On Monday, August 19th (late morning) the Red Arrows will perform an aerial performance over Boston Harbor. You can check out the route here.  Looks like Castle Island is a good spot to watch!

The Boston Civic Design Commission is hosting a meeting on Tuesday, August 20th to discuss L Street Station and the public realm impacts of major projects being reviewed by the Boston Planning and Development Agency.  This meeting is open to the public and takes place at City Hall at 6pm in room 933A.

Keep it clean and help the kids!

The Broadway is hosting another beach clean up – this time it’s Carson Beach.  Meet at 6pm on Tuesday, August 20th at the K Street area of Carson beach to get it cleaned up for the last few weeks of summer!  For this cleanup, The Broadway has partnered up with Reebok.  The first 10 kids to help out with get fresh new kicks from Reebok.  All other participants will get some back to school supplies.  Post cleanup, head back to The Broadway for a little mixer!  There will be corn hole, games and giveaways too! 

Goodbye Cranberry Cafe!

After 23 years of serving up delicious breakfast, lunch, coffee and ice cream, the Cranberry Cafe will be closing it’s doors on Tuesday.  But don’t worry, it will reopen in September after a refresh under a new name – Deja Brew!  Read a special note from Marissa and Cathe Walsh.

Summer Art & Design Exhibition

On Thursday, August 22nd head to the Artist for Humanity EpiCenter for fresh lemonade + snacks ? plus HUNDREDS of teen-made works of art and design!  This fun event takes place from 4pm-7pm.
