Order a Lobster Roll

Craving summer? Barking Crab is opening up for takeout on May 1st and kicking things off with the classic lobster roll. You can order it ready-to-eat OR a lobster roll kit for you to assemble at home. Either option comes with a side of slaw, Cape Cod chips, and a chocolate chip cookie: $25
• Beer to go: your choice of a Harpoon IPA or Harpoon Camp Wannamango: $3 each or 4-pack for $12
• Bottled water: $2 ea
• Extra chips or chocolate chip cookies: $2 ea
They will be taking orders online, HERE as well as in person. They will not be taking orders by phone.

Stretch and Breathe

Quarantine life got you stressed out? Radiant Yoga is offering Yoga Nidra – which loosely interpreted – means yogic sleep. You’ll be led through a sequence of moves deepening you physical, energetic, mental, emotional, and spiritual self. This class will leave you nourished, relaxes and blissful. Loco is now offering margarita kits to go! Friday features the wildly popular Coco Marg and on Saturday the classic El Jefe. The cocktail mix is ready to go and complete with instructions. You just add the booze! Each kit makes 4.

We love a good show to watch during self-quarantining! Hulu now has Mrs. America – an FX original about the Equal Rights Amendment and the Women’s Liberation movement.  Also on Hulu this weekend is the much anticipated series Normal People based on the book.

In the spirt of Lena Dunham’s Verified Strangers for Vogue.com, we thought it would be fun to try our own serial novella for Caught in Southie! You know, while quarantining.  Next tells the story of Olivia – a 33 year-old, navigating life and love in South Boston.  We will be post weekly chapters. Every second chapter, we need your help to decide where to take the story – via answering a question/voting on Instagram.
