New Year’s Eve on the Waterfront Ice Sculpture Stroll

Boston Harbor Now is proud to present the 12th annual New Year’s Eve on the Waterfront Ice Sculpture Stroll with nearly 30 sculptures on display!

On New Year’s Eve, Boston’s waterfront will be transformed into a magical winter wonderland with unique and interactive ice sculptures in neighborhoods from Revere Beach all the way down to the Seaport. Grab a map, pick a starting point, and start strolling!

When: December 31, 2024 | 1:00PM – 5:00PM

Enjoy other fun, seasonal activities along the way including:

  • Touch-a-Truck with first responder vehicles at the Envoy Hotel
  • Winter lights on the Trellis at Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park
  • Hatchlings solar winter light activation on the Rose Kennedy Greenway
  • Snowport winter village in the Seaport
  • Stick around to ring in the New Year with midnight fireworks over Boston Harbor!

Registration is *not* required to participate in this free outdoor event. Eventbrite RSVP will allow you to receive any special event updates plus one entry into the Waterfront Staycation Giveaway Contest!

Participate in the Waterfront Ice Sculpture Stroll Selfie Contest and enter to win a staycation prize package for two! Prize details to come.

HOW TO ENTER:

  1. Post a selfie on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with one of our qualifying New Year’s Eve on the Waterfront ice sculptures.
  2. Tag @BostonHarborNow to enter.
  3. Add the partner location of the photos.
You may enter as many times as you wish. One entry per unique photo. All three criteria must be met to qualify as a valid entry. Winners will be drawn at random and notified via social media channels in January, 2025. Follow @BostonHarborNow to ensure our winner notification DMs show up in your inbox. Prizes have no cash value and can be used throughout 2025. Boston Harbor Now reserves the right to disqualify entries that fail to meet contest rules and criteria. Good luck!
