It’s February Vacation week and here are some suggestions of fun things to do with the kids!

Staycation

The Seaport Hotel is offering a stay and play package for you and your family! The kids can enjoy the First Mate’s Club goody bag at check-in and can select a toy from Seaport’s Treasure Chest. Get the kids out & about with the popular Seaport Scavenger Hunt, and be sure to visit Wave’s indoor heated pool (with Kids’ Splash Hour from 4 – 5 pm, daily!) Best of all, enjoy complimentary wireless throughout the hotel, Seaport’s Read in Bed book program, and kid-friendly menus in TAMO, the Seaport Cafe and Aura restaurant (don’t forget, kids under 5 eat breakfast free with parents in Aura!)  TAMO will feature a pizza and drink special, as well as a “decorate your own cupcake” bento box available for purchase during the week.  In addition, Family Movie Night with complimentary popcorn will take place from 6 – 10 pm nightly in TAMO Loft (2/16 – 2/22).  To learn more, visit here.

Skating by

The Murphy Rink is offering public skating through the winter.  If you don’ t have skates, don’t worry.  You can rent them from Teddy – he is the skate master (and local legend).  If your blades are dull, he’ll sharpen ’em up for you! So bundle up the family and head to the rink! Hours of Public Skating during school vacation are Tuesday-Friday 10am-3pm.

Let’s go to the movies

Enjoy the luxury theater in the Seaport District! The ShowPlace ICON spans 44,000 square feet, boasts 10 auditoriums and seats 855 guests in total. Auditoriums range from the 131-seat ICON-X premium large format room to a 63-seat auditorium, which gives moviegoers the feeling of being in their own private screening room.
