Matt Tavares, an author/illustrator whose books have won Parents’ Choice Awards and an Oppenheim Gold Seal, will visit the South Boston Library on Friday, July 22nd at 1:00 pm. Matt will help the kids in a drawing project and will read his newest book, “Growing Up Pedro,” about the great Red Sox player, Pedro Martinez.
