Conversation & Book Signing with NYT-Bestselling Cookbook Author Andy Baraghani
The Cook You Want To Be
Seaport by WS Development announces a conversation and book signing celebrating the release of the debut cookbook by long-time cook and writer Andy Baraghani on June 29. Andy blends the home cooking of his Iranian upbringing, his professional training in restaurants such as Chez Panisse and Estela, editorial experience at Bon Appetit and Saveur, and his travels from around the globe, to bring home cooks over 120 exquisite everyday recipes. A versatile and stunning cookbook, it is for curious home cooks of all skill levels and culinary ambition, complete with a comprehensive pantry and kitchen tool guide.
“I can’t wait to talk about allll the things while I’m in Boston Seaport. Just don’t ask me about baseball,” shared Andy. In addition, he recommends a few of his must-have ingredients from Cardullo’s Gourmet Shoppe, a Boston Seaport neighborhood favorite, including Boston Raw Wildflower Honey, Edmond Fallot Traditional Dijon Mustard, L’Estornell Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and Organic Castelvetrano Green Olives from Asaro Farms.
Ariel Foxman, General Manager of Seaport Boston, will host a conversation with Andy exploring his professional experiences, a few timeless recipes and tips, and other highlights, followed by a book signing. Copies of The Cook You Want To Be will be sold by Seaport’s neighborhood bookstore, Porter Square Books at 50 Liberty Dive.
