The Event that Captivated Denver and Brooklyn Lands in Boston with Classic Mexican Cuisine and Over 100 Top Shelf Agave Spirits like Tequila and Mezcal

Mexican Spirits Expert Arik Torren of Lot001 Brands, Chef and Mezcal de Leyendas Partner
Danny Mena, and Food Karma Projects’ Founder Jimmy Carbone present the extraordinary Bowl of ‘Zole
Boston celebrating classic Mexican cuisine and spirits at the South Boston Lithuanian Citizens’ Association on Saturday, February 24, 2024.

“Bowl of ‘Zole is very unique in that it has a party atmosphere, but it’s very serious without taking itself too seriously,” says participant Chef Max Toste of Allston and Cambridge’s Lone Star Taco and Portland, Maine’s Lenora. Lenora’s famed Maine seafood pozole will be among the diverse selections of innovative and traditional takes on the iconic Mexican entree, including additional exciting preparations of seafood, vegetarian, and pork pozole. New England’s rising culinary stars and award-winning restaurants will also offer familiar favorites like tacos and quesadillas, all ready to pair with incredible samples of more than 100 vibrant agave expressions like tequila and mezcal.

Bowl of ‘Zole Boston showcases a stunning selection of spirits from both independent and internationally- recognized distilleries. There will be the smooth allure of top shelf tequila from Amatiteña Tequila, Don Fulano. Tequila, Tequila Fortaleza, Tequila ArteNOM, smoky tastes of artisan mezcal from Mezcal de Leyendas, the distinct charm of raicilla and sotol from artisan producers, and renowned Mexican wines and beers. “It’s a really wonderful cultural event that brings together… aspects that are deeply ingrained in Mexico… whether it’s tequila, mezcal, or even wine,” extols Bowl of ‘Zole co-founder, Danny Mena.

Some of Boston’s hottest chefs and restaurants will be showing off their best takes on pozole and traditional
Mexican dishes. Here’s just a preview of the lineup with:
