The Final Sunset Social at The LOT
It’s our final Sunset Social at The LOT! Hosted by On the Dot®, join your friends and neighbors on Thursday, September 19th, from 6-9PM at 383 Dorchester Ave. We will have live music by local artist Kristen Cropanese and delicious drinks at our favorite, The Cantina! This week there will be an extra surprise as well – Maker / Scholar will be doing pet portraits all night long. Be sure to bring your furry friend and see Becca for their close-up!
South Boston Street Festival
The South Boston Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with South Boston Neighborhood Development Corporation (South Boston NDC), is excited to announce the 24th South Boston Street Fest, happening on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024. (In case of rain, the festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28.) East Broadway, between I and L streets, will be transformed into a bustling celebration from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Building on a rich tradition, the 2024 Street Fest is set to be the biggest yet, with nearly 100 local businesses, artists, and community organizations participating, along with many of the neighborhood’s top restaurants. With more than 5,000 attendees expected throughout the day, the event has solidified its place as a beloved community tradition. Get all the fun details here!

Goodbye Summer Street Bus Lane
The people have spoken. After a six-month pilot program, the Wu administration plans to remove a bus lane on Summer Street because data showed it wasn’t working as planned. Basically, cars were using it more than buses. So, with the Summer Street Pilot ending , the data, based on community feedback, has been released. You can check it out here!
