The Boston Planning and Development Agency will host a virtual community meeting on Tuesday, October 4 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm to discuss 17 Farnsworth Street. The meeting will include a presentation followed by questions and comments from the public.
Pool is back at The Seapoint

Lawn-A-Palooza – Battle of the Bands
The Lawn On D will be hosting our first ever Lawn-A-Palooza / Battle of the Bands! Free and fun for all ages and Halloween costumes ARE encouraged! Food & beverage will be available for purchase from 12:00 pm – 11:00 pm. There will be family activities including bubbles performer, pumpkin painting and more from 12pm-6pm! The Battle of the Bands will take place from 5pm-10pm. DJ Stephanie Stardust will be your host!
Yoga Class Pop-up at Castle Island Brewing
After a successful and sold-out first installment of Yoga at the Brewery with Boston yoga instructor, Sarah White @TheCoastalYogi, the Southie community has requested more. Partners at Castle Island Brewery and Bardo’s Bar Pizza have announced a second section of the brewery located yoga flow class to be held at its South Boston location. The 45-minute class will include an all-levels yoga flow style workout that will blend movement, music, and mindfulness on Saturday, October 8th from 10am-10:45am. Tickets ($25) to the event will also include one Castle Island beer and the invitation to stay, mingle and enjoy selections from the Bardo’s menu including their Best of Boston award winning Bar Style Pizza’s.
