Trick or Treating on Broadway

Beware of little ghosts and goblins (and their parents) roaming the streets in search for Halloween candy.  East and West Broadway will be filled with trick or treaters on Monday, October 31st from 4pm-6pm picking up candy from local businesses and residences.  So be warned! This event is free and is hosted by the members of the South Boston Chamber of Commerce. A special pedestrian traffic flow has been requested. You can get the details. 

Good Vibes Make Your Own Bracelet Bar

In Good Company and The Broadway are partnering up for a special event on Wednesday, November 2nd from 7pm-9pm. Grab your PJs + join In Good Company for a nostalgic sleepover themed night of creating at our MAKE YOUR OWN BRACELET BAR with @bostonbeaded
Tix are $36 + include:
– Supplies to make up to three bracelets (each attendee is required to purchase a ticket)
– $10 to shop at the In Good Company Pop-Up (happening during the event)
– Donation to a charity focusing on mental health (TBD)
– Snack + Sip on your BROADWAY FAVES while
you create!

Crooked Karaoke at Castle Island Brewing

J.P. Licks and Castle Island Brewing Co. recently announced a sweet and hoppy partnership which has resulted in a new beer, Crooked Cow Prints, and ice cream flavor, Salted Caramel Infused Coffee. Salted Caramel Infused Coffee will be available at all 17 J.P. Licks store locations on Friday, October 28. Crooked Cow Prints will be available at both CIBC taprooms and liquor stores across Massachusetts and Rhode Island throughout November and December. Castle Island Brewing & J.P. Licks will kick off the partnership with an Ice Cream Social Karaoke Party on Thursday, November 3 from 7-10 pm ET in CIBC’s South Boston Taproom at 10 Old Colony Ave, South Boston. J.P. Licks and CIBC invite the public to come check out the new flavors, the event will also feature “Crooked Floats” – Crooked Cow Prints Ice Cream Floats.

Seaport Tea Dance

Bow wow, it’s time for tea. Join us on Sea Green, this Saturday, for a dog-friendly tea dance with Provincetown Brewing Co. Beer will be available to purchase and enjoy while you’re blown away by Boston’s best: Your host Pristine ChristinePatty BourréeJust JP and music from DJ Brian Halligan. Your four-legged friends can also sit for a portrait by illustrator Andrea Cáceres and meet and greet with their neighborhood favorites PolkadogBond VetRuff Translating.

MBTA Bus Network Redesign Meeting

Bus Listen up, MBTA bus commuters! Especially the #7 riders! Now is your chance to have your voice heard! Back in May, the MBTA released a draft map of changes. Regarding the Southie bus routes, there were some changes to the #7, #10, and #11.  The MBTA will host a virtual public meeting on Wednesday, November 2, at 6 PM to discuss the Bus Network Redesign Program.  The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. The meeting will be recorded and posted online for those who cannot attend.
