Massport to Host Emergency Exercise at Logan Airport on October 22nd to October 23rd
The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport), alongside several mutual aid partners, will hold an emergency response exercise overnight from Tuesday, October 22 to Wednesday, October 23 at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). It will take place from 10:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. For the surrounding communities, please be aware that there will be emergency vehicles from various agencies in the vicinity and on the airfield. For those in the airport, there will be emergency personnel and loud noises in Terminal C. This exercise, like all the ones that Massport conducts, is designed to allow first responders to realistically respond to an emergency. A number of mutual aid partners will be taking part in the exercise alongside Massport Fire Rescue, including the Boston Fire Department, Boston EMS, and the Massachusetts State Police. Portions of Terminal C will be closed for this exercise.
