Giveback Bash at The LOT
Head over to The LOT, 383 Dorchester Ave., this Veterans Day from 12-4PM! This event will be full of giving back to those who served as well as our organizations in the neighborhood. Local nonprofits will be in attendance collecting donations, letter writing to the troops will be available, and activities for kids! Stop by and have some fun with games, food, live music, and even free train rides for kids. Donations needed include white athletic socks, diapers/wipes, and jackets/clothing for all ages. Election Day- November 7th
Tuesday is election day for the municipal elections in Boston. Polling locations open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. The election will determine At-Large and District City Councilors for the City of Boston. Get more info on the election and where to vote here. Do your civic duty and vote!
Southie Kids Food Drive
Southie Kids Food Drive will be held at Capo on Thursday, November 9th, from 6-9pm. The event will include raffles, drinks, small plates, and live music. The event is run by The Seven2 Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that helps students in need while also supporting local businesses. This Thanksgiving, they hope to donate 2,000+ meals to kids in need in Boston. Support this awesome cause and get tickets here!

Calling for Volunteers!
Msgr. Thomas J McDonnell and Frank Kelly Thanksgiving Dinner is looking for volunteers to deliver and serve Thanksgiving dinner at St. Monica’s Church. Volunteers will meet at St. Monica’s at 9am. If you are unable to volunteer, they are also accepting donations. Donations can be made in checks payable to South Boston Seaport Collaborative Memo Thanksgiving Dinner 2023. Checks can be dropped off to Deja Brew on East Broadway.
