‘Tis the Season for Giving Back – Giving Tuesday

Here are some local organizations, groups, and charities to consider donating to this Giving Tuesday and holiday season! Check out our roundup! 

Get Crafty – Holiday Style

Capo is offering festive wreath-making classes on Monday, December 5th an Monday, December 12th with Market Floral Studio. Enjoy cocktails, charcuterie and create a gorgeous holiday wreath to take home! Enjoy 20% off all food purchases and a Galliano specialty cocktail while you decorate. The event runs from 6:30-8:30pm.  Purchase your ticket here! 

Lincoln will feature gingerbread house making on Monday, December 5th and Monday, December 19th at 6:30pm led by pastry chef Marissa Hart. Enjoy a seasonal cocktail and pizza buffet while you create your own whimsical gingerbread house to take home.  $75 per person. You can reserve your spot here!

South Boston Holiday Stroll – Get in the Spirit

The South Boston Chamber of Commerce and the South Boston Neighborhood Development Corporation are excited to once again make the Broadway business district and surrounding areas a festive place for the community to shop and dine locally during the holiday season. The Holiday Stroll will take place on Thursday, Dec.1 from 4-6 p.m., kicking off a month of Shopping, Dining, and Splurging at our local businesses and restaurants! The Stroll features Santa on an antique fire truck, followed by a Classic Cadillac convertible with up-and-coming pop singers Carly Underwood and Tyler Levs of MusicBall Entertainment. More than 50 participating businesses will be offering incredible savings on Dec. 1; look for the big red bow on their storefronts. Santa will make four stops along East and West Broadway (there will be hot chocolate and treats at each stop)!

  • 4:00 p.m. — Medal of Honor Park
  • 4:30 p.m. — Library on East Broadway
  • 5:00 p.m. — West Broadway Municipal Parking Lot
  • 5:30 p.m. — Corner of C Street and West Broadway

The Original Dickens Carolers will be strolling along East Broadway (4-6 p.m.) and West Broadway (5-7 p.m.). And free Pedicab rides will be available from 5:30-7:30 p.m. to whisk customers to their favorite establishments.

Laboure Christmas Shoppe

Get ready to deck the halls with the help of the Laboure Christmas Shoppe, featuring holiday decorations, Christmas decor, candles, tree trimmings, gifts, and more!  Takes place on Saturday, December 3rd and Sunday, December 4th 10am-2pm at the Laboure Center – 275 West Broadway.  

Holiday Brunch at The Broadway

‘Tis The SZN For New Holiday Brunch at The Broadway. Every Friday in December, you can enjoy Holiday Brunch from 10am – 2:30pm. New Menu Items include  The Brady – sausage patty, hash brown, scrambled egg, American cheese, spicy mayo, French Toast Sticks – cinnamon sugar, Nutella, whipped cream. BW Breakfast – two eggs anyway, home fries, English muffin, choice of bacon, chicken-maple sausage, or avocado. Hawaiian Rice Bowl – jasmine rice, char-broiled burger, shitake demi-glaze, spicy mayo, sunny egg, crispy shallot & garlic, chive.
