Mayor Wu’s Coffee Hour
Coffee and Conversation – Mayor Wu’s Neighborhood Coffee Hour will take place on Wednesday, May 10th at A Street Park – 135-141 A Street, South Boston. Participants will enjoy Dunkin’ Iced Coffee and assorted Dunkin’ MUNCHKINS® Donut Hole Treats, along with fresh fruit from Star Market. Additional support is provided by City Express courier service. Each family in attendance will receive a free flowering plant from the Parks Department while supplies last. Residents at each event will also be eligible to win a raffle prize from Dunkin’. Community Meeting about Dogs Off-Leash at M Street Park
Following an incident in April in which a four-year-old girl was bitten by an off-leash dog at Medal of Honor Park, or M Street Park, Council President Flynn and Councilor At-Large Michael Flaherty will be hosting a community meeting in South Boston on Wednesday, May 10th at 6pm at M Street Park to address the issue of off-leash dogs. Free Yoga Class at Medal of Honor Park
Southie resident and yoga instructor Christine Linnane will be teaching a free yoga class on Wednesday at 6pm at Medal of Honor Park as part of the Boston Parks + Recreation Summer Fitness Series. Bring your own mat.

Return of Seaport Summer Market + New Shops at The Current
The Boston Seaport is the place to be this summer with the return of its open-air Seaport Summer Market. The market will offer a wide array of products from a mix of nearly 130 vendors – the majority of which are women and minority–owned and local. This year, the market will also feature an expanded line up of seasonal dining options. Also in the neighborhood, Boston’s first retail incubator The Current will introduce a roster of exciting new brands as part of its 12th season.
