Waterfront Wellness Week

Rock n Shop at Bohdii Boutique

On Thursday from 7pm-9:30pm, head to Bohdii Boutique for a Rock n Shop Hppy Hour with Southie’s own DJ Kait, Ring by Rach. There will be giveaways and raffles too!

Dropkick Murphy – A Legendary Life Book Discussion at Southie Library

On Thursday at 6:30pm, author (and Dorchester native) Emily Sweeney will be at the South Boston Public Library on Thursday to discuss her new book about Dropkick Murphy – a professional wrestler who put himself through medical school during the Great Depression.  Ken Casey, the lead singer of the Dropkick Murphys, wrote the foreword for the book, which recently received a glowing review by the Irish Times. Boston Pizza Festival

If you like pizza, you’ll love this event! On Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25 participate in the Boston Pizza Festival with over 30 pizzerias serving up slices, showcasing demonstrations, and live music while you eat your pizza. Take place at City Hall Plaza!  You can get your tickets here! 

Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Market on June 25 with Music theme

n honor of June being Black Music Month, there will be the following additional happenings to complement the 30+ local Black owned businesses at the market on Sunday, June 25 from 12pm to 6pm:
  • Featured live band will be TheMastadonis Projectled by Adonis Martin – a Boston based group that puts a unique spin on their interpretation of Jazz. Bringing with them an eclectic style that encompasses gospel music (from traditional to contemporary), R&B/Neo-soul of the 90s/early 2000s and Latin and Caribbean influences, this band is sure to give you an EAR opening experience! Adonis Martin is also the Musical Director at the newly opened Grace by Nia at Boston Seaport and his band is the house band for the venue.
  • Progressive Wine Co. pop up serving wine by the glass
  • ZaZ Restaurant pop up serving Caribbean fusion dishes

  • Branded merchandise and raffle with proceeds going to support local non-profit BAMS Fest
