ParkARTS Arts and Crafts Workshops

The Boston Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce the return of participatory arts programming that provides children the opportunity to express their creativity while working on fun projects with local artists. ParkARTS Arts and Crafts Workshops are sponsored by Highland Partners Charitable Fund with additional support by the Boston Centers for Youth and Families Summer Grant program.  Kids ages three to ten can enjoy a wide variety of arts and crafts activities held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in parks across the city.  You can learn more here!

If eating oyster and drinking rose on a tall ship sounds like fun, then you’ll love The Tall Ship!  Navy Yard Hospitality Group, which is also behind waterfront spots Pier 6Reelhouse, and more has officially opened The Tall Ship on the East Boston Waterfront. The new restaurant, which is literally on a tall ship  is described as a floating oyster bar, and will feature live music and events. Repurposed shipping containers will host vendors in addition to food trucks along the pier
