Recycling Christmas Trees

Maybe wait to toss your tree out the window. The City will pick up Christmas trees during the first two full weeks of January to be shredded for compost. If you have two recycling days, we pick up trees on your first recycling day. Please place your trees on the curb by 6 a.m., without lights or ornaments. Get the details here. 

Watch where you park!

The Fort Point Boston Blog posted a reminder on Monday that Netflix Productions of their feature film, “Don’t Look Up” will be filming on Monday, January 4th and Tuesday, January 5th. “Don’t Look Up” is a film by Adam McCay a political satire about two astronomers played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence.  It also stars and all star cast including Meryl Street, Cate Blanchett, Timothee Calamet, Johan Hill, Ariana Grande, Chris Evans and Matthew Perry. There will be parking restrictions in effect starting Monday, December 28th through Friday, January 8th for prep, shooting and wrap.
