Si Cara officially opened its doors in South Boston to rave reviews.  The new spot’s official address is 400 West Broadway and was recently featured in the Boston Globe’s Best of the Best List!  Here are some updates to the new pizza spots’ hours: The lounge opens and online takeout launches this week, and lunch will be served starting in February.  Get all the details here!

For those who use BlueBikes, there are two new locations in the neighborhood – C and Baxter Street and Mary Ellen McCormack Sterling Square.

The Lith Club Kitchen will be open to the public on Sunday, January 25th from 11am-7pm.  Enjoy traditional Lithuanian food plus some of the best bar pizza in town.  Cash bar.

Winter Bird Stroll at Castle Island

Calling all bird lovers! Take a winter bird stroll at Castle Island with Nature Man Mike on Sunday, January 25th from 8:30am-10:30am. Winter is a great time to see various migratory waterfowl at Castle Island. It’s one of Mike’s favortie spots for winter birding in Boston! Expect to walk up to 2 miles on paved paths. Dress warm. It can be very cold and windy during this time. This event is accessible. Porta potties are available. Limited loaner binoculars will be available on a first come, first served basis. This is a free event, but registration is required. You can register here. 

Bonus: Free Admission to these Museums on MLK Day

In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day museums all over Boston will be offering free admission. The participating museums are The MFA, The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, The ICA, The Peabody Essex Museum. Also The Franklin Park Zoo is having free admission. A perfect way to spend the day and learn something new…for FREE!
