Book Launch + Signing at L Street Tavern
Just in time for last-minute holiday shopping, L Street Tavern will be hosting a very special book launch and signing featuring local author and L Street bartender Conor Jennings on Monday, December 22nd at 6:30 pm. Jennings wrote his debut novel, The Tides That Never Turn, which tells the story of a group of twenty-something friends who head to Nantucket for Memorial Day, where they confront tensions and life choices as they are suspended between past identities and future possibilities. You can purchase your copy via Amazon here. Or stop by the tavern on Monday, where limited copies will be available for signing.

Msgr. Thomas J. McDonnell + Frank Kelly Christmas Dinner 2025
This is the time of year to be grateful for all we have. Unfortunately, many need help with the holidays, including Christmas dinner! Christmas Dinner at St. Monica – For more than 30 years, Frank Kelley and his family led a brigade of volunteers who made sure thousands of people had a hot dinner for Christmas. Now the South Boston community continues this tradition in Frank’s and Msgr. McDonnell’s name. It takes a village to make this dinner a reality! Volunteer to help make pick-ups, deliveries, set-ups, and clean-up! You can text Cathe at DejaBrew at 617-797-6845. You can still make a monetary donation, too!
Happy Holidays!
