Pop Up Shop on Tuesday with Caught in Southie + Maude Mango
On Tuesday from 4pm-7pm Caught in Southie/Maude Mango will be selling CIS merch and vintage clothing and accessories (two of our favorite things) at Deirfiur Home’s space located at 738 East Broadway. Here are some the fun items that we’ll have: CIS hoodies, Southie beanies, Southie trucker hats, CIS tumbler (learn about our coffee collaboration with Olga’s), Vintage items including winter coats, holiday dresses, sparkly bags, festive accessories and more! (In my former life, I owned a vintage clothing shop in South Boston called Maude Mango – the recipient of the Best of Boston Award by Boston Magazine way back in 2000!)
DCR Traffic Advisory for Morrissey Blvd
Beginning on Friday, December 13, 2024, and continuing through Friday, December 20, 2024 (excluding weekends), the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will implement a lane shift on William J. Day Boulevard between O Street and P Street in South Boston from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to accommodate excavation work. Traffic patterns will be clearly marked, and a police detail will be on site.
Fresh Festivus
Join Fresh for their Festivus on Wednesday, December 18th at 6pm. Come wearing a festive outfit like an ugly Christmas sweater or festive PJs. With a focus on creating wellness opportunities for all ages, this local initiative is making waves in the Southie community. Their next Yoga for Moms event is coming up on Friday at East Side Yoga—the perfect chance for moms to recharge, stretch, and connect with others in a supportive environment.
