The Coolest Place in Boston: Boston Harbor – A special presentation at the library

Beat the heat with a presentation by Genny Peterson about the history and beauty of Boston Harbor and its 34 islands. Genny will illuminate sites of interest in Boston Harbor and its islands and show visitors how to get there. Takes place on Wednesday, August 7th from 4pm-5pm at the South Boston Public Library!Ā  You can learn more here!Ā 

Free Arts + Crafts for Kids at Medal of Honor Park

The Boston Parks and Recreation Departmentā€™s annual ParkARTS program is pleased to announce the return of free Arts & Crafts Workshops for children. From West Roxbury to East Boston, kids ages three to ten can enjoy a wide variety of arts and crafts activities led by local artists at the workshops held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. This week this fun and free event takes place Thursday, 8th and 15th.Ā 

Free Outdoor Movie at Seaport

Adding to its ever-expanding lineup of exciting summer programming,Ā Boston Seaport by WSĀ announcesĀ Paramount+Ā Movie Nights at Seaport. The free outdoor movie series kicks off on Monday, August 5, and will feature a diverse selection of classic films for moviegoers to enjoy under the stars, from comedy and action to family-friendly movies. Mei Mei Dumpling Factory Kids Class

Join Mei Mei Dumpling Factory for a fun-filled dumpling making class for kids on Saturday August 10th at 1:30pm.Ā  After students learn how to fold our favorite shapes, they’ll get to eat their creations with a variety of dipping sauces from our sauce station. Students proudly take home the dumplings they made, a recipe card, and all the skills needed to recreate dumpling magic in the comfort of their own homes. This class is 90 minutes long and recommended for kids ages 8-12.Ā  You can purchase your tickets here!Ā
