Boston City Council President Ed Flynn and City Councilor At-Large Michael Flaherty are partnering with the Office of Community Preservation to host an information session for District 2 residents on the Community Preservation Act (CPA) on Tuesday, August 23, 6pm via Zoom. This meeting aims to provide information and resources for residents, civic groups and organizations in District 2 who may want to apply for funding from the CPA. Register for the Tour de South Shore
The Tour de South Shore is returning on September 25 to Wompatuck State Park in Hingham! Featuring a 25- and 50-mile bike and 5K fun run/walk, all proceeds raised from the Tour de South Shore support The McCourt Foundation and their mission to help find a cure for Neurological diseases and build a healthier world. The bike courses boasts a scenic ride through the trees and along the coast in Scituate, Norwell, Cohasset and Hingham, and the 5K course winds you through and around Wompatuck State Park. Post-race, all participants and their friends and family, are invited to join us for a spirited celebration with music, free food and beer, an awards ceremony awarding the Team CUP Trophy to the top fundraising team, and more!
