If you’d like the Castle Island Association’s Children’s Magical Halloween Castle to return to Fort Independence this October, you’re invited to attend one of the two meetings being held by the CIA to find out how you can make it happen.
The meetings take place:
Saturday, August 10th, at 11:00 AM inside Fort Independence
Thursday, August 15, at 6:30 PM at the South Boston Branch Library
Back in 2022, the Castle Island Association (CIA) decided to cancel this year’s Magic Halloween Castle event. Citing a lack of volunteers and the fact that most of the current volunteers are senior citizens who live outside the neighborhood, the CIA decided not to hold the event for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

Can’t attend meeting but definitely would love to see Halloween at Fort Independence!
Unfortunately, I cannot attend the meeting BUT would love to see Halloween at Fort Independence as well!
