Woman dies after crash in South Boston Saturday Night.

A woman is dead after a crash involving a minivan and tow truck in South Boston Saturday night, police said.
According to Massachusetts State Police, troopers responded to a crash shortly after 11:30pm on South Boston Bypass Road. It appears a 2023 Chrysler Pacifica was traveling westbound when it crossed over the double solid yellow lines and struck a flatbed tow truck traveling eastbound.
Police said the Chrysler’s driver, a 23-year-old woman, sustained severe injuries and was transported to Boston Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. Her name and hometown have not been released at this time.
The tow truck driver, a 65-year-old Rowley man, sustained minor injuries and was hospitalized for evaluation. The crash is under investigation.
