Where to park your car during a parking ban!
We know! It’s not easy finding a spot in the neighborhood on a regular day but during a Parking Ban, it can feel nearly impossible. Here is some helpful information to make this stressful situation a little easier.
First, here is list of Snow Emergency/Parking ban parking restricted streets in the neighborhood. So watch where you park!
And here are some off-street parking facilities to give you a little peace of mind! You must have a resident sticker.
BOSTON CONVENTION AND EXHIBITION CENTER SOUTH PARKING LOT |

CHANNEL CENTER GARAGE |
SNOW EMERGENCY RATE:
$10 each day The discounted rate is for all City of Boston residents. Please note: Oversized vehicles are not allowed. To show proof of residence, please bring a valid driver’s license with a City of Boston address to the garage office. |
MARINE PARK GARAGE |
SNOW EMERGENCY RATE:
$1 per night Discounted parking is for South Boston residents only, and a South Boston resident parking permit is required. Snow emergency parking is allowed on the fourth floor of the garage only. |

South Boston residents are able to park in the South Boston Waterfront Transportation Center free of charge beginning at 6:00 p.m. tonight (1/28) until 9 a.m. Monday morning (1/31).
DCR will accommodate vehicles with valid South Boston resident parking stickers at Castle Island from 5 p.m. on Friday until 24 hours after the DCR parking ban is lifted.
Also a reminder: No Overnight Parking on the Beachside of Day Blvd.
