Water Main Break in Southie

Overnight, there was a water main break in the neighborhood causing flooded streets and lack of water for residents.
A pipe broke on Dot Ave. around 11:30pm on Wednesday. Water service has been shut off to 16 buildings.
Boston Water and Sewer crews are working in the area of 480 Dorchester Ave. Dot Ave blocked from Alger St to Andrew Square while repairs ongoing. Avoid that area if driving.
