Watch Where You Park: Boston Public Works Clearing Snow Along the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Route

With the South Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade this weekend, the City of Boston is getting the neighborhood ready for one of the biggest days of the year.
According to city officials, Boston Public Works crews will begin clearing snow along the parade route starting Monday at 8pm to make sure the streets are ready for the celebrations.
Snow removal will take place on several key streets in South Boston, including Telegraph Street, Thomas Park, 6th Street, K Street, and 4th Street.
Temporary parking restrictions will be in place while crews work, so residents are asked to avoid parking in those areas to help the cleanup go smoothly.
Also, pitch in. With warmer temps in the forecast, help out by breaking up large mounds of snow so they can melt in the sun!
Make sure to check out our St. Patrick’s Day Guide filled with festive and helpful information, from street closures to events in the neighborhood.
