UPDATE: Death Investigation in South Boston – Body recovered near Barking Crab in Seaport has been identified.

Suffolk County DA’s office has identified the victim recovered from Boston Harbor on Monday morning as missing person – 24-year-old Wedefegerson Desir, of Brighton. Desir was last seen on Sunday, August 11th at 2:00 AM at the Barking Crab restaurant located at 88 Sleeper St, where he left his belongings.

Boston 25 News is reporting that a death investigation is underway after a body was recovered from the water on Monday morning.
BPD, BFD, and Boston EMS responded to a call for a person in the water near 1 Courthouse Way around 7:30 am. Shortly after, a body was pulled near the Barking Crab Restaurant.
