Two weekend incidents
one crime/one foolishness
Late Friday night around midnight, a female South Boston resident was walking down K Street and was approached by two males driving in a car. One allegedly got out of the vehicle and approached the female holding a gun and demanding her purse and phone. The female handed over her purse and the two suspects drove away. A police report was filed with the BPD.
On Sunday, July 12th at approximately, 8pm, first responders answered a call to a women injured in the back of 333 West Broadway. A 42 year old female was found with broken bones after falling from the third floor deck. Evidently, she was trying to do a handstand along the banister and fell over and down three floors. She is expected to recover and we suspect that alcohol was involved.
Be careful out there, Southie!

Ladies(and gentlemen)this is no longer the Southie of old as times have changed. Walking the streets alone is never wise no matter the time or place. Please use common sense and please be careful Southie needs you
Your words alone will keep the old Southie forever in our hearts, It's too bad that the world has seen so many negative changes, Prayer and love for each other would do wonders
